About the Author

Sheila Raptis, a housewife and mother of three, was born and educated in the Philippines, and has lived in Australia since 1986. She worked as a consumer and promotions specialist for highly reputable multinational companies then as a functions manager in one of Sydney’s Southwest RSL Clubs.

At the age of 35, she prepared a “parting kit” to help alleviate some of life’s most difficult moments and turned it into a loving way of honouring a life—in this case, her life.

Sheila now owns a company called Raptism in Sydney. It is a company with products that primarily symbolize a life that has been lived and loved.

Sheila says, “I consider myself more of a creator of this book rather than a writer at heart. The passion I have in creating things that could touch one’s heart has certainly led me to something really special indeed. However, this book is nothing without you and your story.
