Synopsis

I honor God for giving me this word for his people. While being incarcerated I experienced God like never before. All that I have been through in my life God told me to write it down because my life is a testimony to the next person. We as people of God need to be able to detect the many different disguises of the enemy. In this book I am going to expose the enemy. I'm going to bring to the light the many different disguises and faces that the enemy has set for the people of God to lose their focus. Satan is present and evident and present in the world today and unless we recognize his disguises we will be unable to defeat him. I pray that this word convict the hearts of the readers

Chapter One

Who is The Enemy?

Webster's definition of an enemy is a person who hates another, and wishes or tricks to injure him.

You may still be asking yourself, who is my enemy? In all my years of being saved, I have come to the conclusion that our enemy is Satan. Before you were born into this world, or were even thought of, God had a plan for your life, and so did Satan. The bible explains his plan and that is to kill, steal, and destroy.

You need to realize that once you become saved and begin to walk in the fullness of God, you become a threat to the enemy and his kingdom, and he will throw everything against you to fulfill his plan for your life.

Satan doesn't like the fact that you are on God's side. He doesn't enjoy knowing the fact that you as a child of God can win souls to Christ and snatch many people away from his grip. Believe it or not Satan was on God's side. He was a beautiful angel that was created by God, but because of pride he fell from his heavenly position and became the enemy of God. He also brought with him a host of angels with him that became his demons and they are lurking and seeking whomever they may devour.

Have you noticed that when you become saved things begin to change in your life? Friends begin to turn against you, family members begin to forsake you, it just seems like the whole world has come up against you. Why? Because you are a threat and Satan is attacking you in every possible way in order to get you back in the same position before salvation.

In order not to fall into the enemies trap you must trust in the lord with all your heart and lean not unto your understanding in all your ways acknowledge him and he will direct thy paths. If we lean into our own understanding, we will surely fall into his traps. Our understanding can't possibly match the enemy's power. Without the power and spirit of God present in our lives to protect us, we couldn't possibly resist the enemy.

That is why we as people of God continually fall. We get up again then we fall, get up, then fall, get up once again, then fall. The reason, people of god, we keep falling because we as humans, born in flesh, are not able to resist the various temptations that the enemy throws at us.

The enemy is the best deceiver and tempter in the whole entire world. The bible explains how the enemy tempted our lord and savior Jesus Christ in the wilderness right after he was baptized by John. If Jesus was tempted, why do you think you are not going to be tempted?

I can hear the enemy now, "go ahead, smoke a blunt," "go ahead have sex, God will forgive you," or "Just take a sip of that alcohol you can always repent." Whatever your weaknesses were before you became saved, the enemy will tempt you face to face with these exact same things. If your spirit man is not strong enough you will fall into his trap, and once you fall for it, he has you.

Satan has put on his best disguises, tricked me and tempted me in so many ways and I fell every single time, just when I thought that I was excelling in my walk with Christ. I was reading my bible, praying, and going to church regularly. I thought that I was where I needed to be, then out of nowhere the enemy brought the same old tricks. You see, the enemy doesn't have any new tricks. He'll bring the same old things that made you fall the first time, and he'll change it up and make you fall again.

I have to keep it real, my weakness was sex. So the enemy brought the same person back into my life and I fell. When I fell, I started back using drugs that led to drinking, then I started back going to clubs. That led me to totally stop going to church. You see, I've learned that the enemy knows what he is doing, and I have to admit that he is good at what he does.

That is why you have to be rooted and grounded in the word of God. I was reading Gods word, and going through the motions but I wasn't rooted and grounded in the word. Just like a tree or a flower, without its roots it will surely die. Trees need food to grow and stay rooted in the earth. As Christians, what exactly is our food? The word of God is our spiritual food, it's what keeps us rooted and grounded in our walk with Christ.

Every time I fell, you know what the enemy would say to me, and it always worked. He would say, "Just pray about it, God will forgive you." Believe it or not, I listened to him. I know, I have repented for the same thing about a hundred times. You see since Satan was once an angel, he knows the bible and he knows it well. He will use it against you to persuade you to fall into temptation.

Thank you Jesus!! This chapter is mainly about the enemy and exposing him and his true side. I have to expose the enemy and completely destroy his take over the young people. The enemy is after the young people, because he thinks if he can get a hold of us while we are young in age, that he completely has us but I come against him in the name of Jesus!!

Satan has put so many things out there for the young people. Satan has let loose a spirit across this nation and it's taking complete control over the young people. That spirit is the spirit of lust. Young people are out there having sex, and they are starting out at an early age. Not knowing what it is doing to them spiritually.

You see, sex is ordained for the married couple. So having sex outside of marriage, that is when it defiles the body. Understand this reader, when you have sex with another person the spirit of that person steps inside of you. That's why when it comes time for you to settle down and find the person who God has called you to be with, you will have a difficult time because all those different spirits are warring inside of you. You are trying to find a person and compare them to this person or that person.

God has allowed me to know that there is a lot of homosexual and lesbian activity going between young people also. This is a major abomination against God. Most people don't know but this type of activity was happening back in the bible days. This topic will be discussed later in the book.

Satan knows that his time on this earth is drawing nigh. He knows that it is getting near to the time for him to be bound in the bottomless pit for 1,000 years. So he is roaming the earth, even now, seeking whom he may devour. Guess what? He is not worried about the unsaved people because in his mind he knows that he already has them under his submission. He is coming after the called of God, Christians, people in the pews. These are the people whom he is seeking to devour. I don't want to admit it but, he is achieving his goal.

Understand this people of God; everybody is not going to make it to heaven. Some of your loved ones and friends will be left behind to endure the tribulation. Most of these people are the people in the pews, but god has a remnant of holy people who has made up in their minds that for God I live for God I will die. A people that is dedicated in tearing down the gated of hell and snatching every soul that the enemy has in captive.

God spoke to me a while back and told me that he was giving his people, the remnant, an I don't care spirit. I don't care whose looking; I don't care whose talking. I don't know anything about you so I'm going to speak for myself. My biggest problem was people. I was so worried about what this person was thinking or what that person was saying about me, I couldn't get what I needed from God.

I was so into myself, I was trying to keep an image amongst my peers and other people. Even now as I write to you God is in the process of delivering me from that. I'm speaking to somebody reading this right now. Some of you need to be delivered from people; this is what's keeping you from advancing further in the Lord.

I was too worried about what my friends would say, or what will my friends would think about me being saved and living holy for God. I felt like, "I'm only 20 years old and I'm suppose to be out having fun at the parties, drinking, smoking, and having sex." Will they reject my friendship? Will they make fun of me? These were a few of the questions that ran through my mind. Honestly they are still running through my mind, but I know God is taking me through a cleaning process.

Some of you need to take time out from reading this book and fall on your knees and pray to God to deliver you from people. Ask God to impart an "I don't care" spirit within you. There is no possible way you can move forward in Christ, worried about what people say or think about you. I've found myself bound to my seat when praise and worship was going on in the church service. I've found myself actually nervous to get up out the pew when the minister of God called for an altar call, WHY? Because I was worried about what people was thinking. This small tactic can cause you to lift up your eyes in a burning hell.

Satan is the prince of the air, he's the ruler of the atmosphere, and atmosphere is the world around you. So therefore he is able to come to you in all types of shapes and sizes.

Just as God is a spirit, so is Satan. We as human beings born in flesh are not capable to stand against the enemy. The only possible way to defeat the enemy is only through the spirit. When you have had enough of the enemy's tricks and you decide to war with the enemy and take back everything that he has stolen from you, you must build your spirit man. You can't declare war with the enemy and go into battle half- stepping, because he is stronger than we are.

How do you prepare yourself for battle? You must read God's word continually to get an understanding of what you are going up against. Understand this, "The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to pulling down strongholds." 2 Corinthians 10:3

The definition of carnal is of the body; fleshly. There is no possible way we can defeat the enemy in the flesh. This scripture tells us that the only possible way to defeat the enemy is through God. The scriptures continue with instruction, "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ." Those things, those people that causes you to keep falling in your spiritual walk, those things are a stronghold.

I don't know what your stronghold may be; it may be the love of money, sex or whatever. God says you must bring those things into captivity. Your mind is a spiritual battleground, every action that you do it starts by thinking of it. That's why we must keep our mind under total submission unto God. Understand this people of God, if your mind is not constantly on Jesus or the things of God, it leaves an open door and opportunity for the enemy to come in and intervene to distract you from the things of God, and this is what causes sin to come into your life. Pray over your mind daily, read God's word and meditate on what you read all day. Bring every single thought under the obedience of God.

I have learned from personal experience that the enemy will put a thought into your mind, and if you dwell on that thought, 9 times out of 10 you will put that thought into action. That's why when the enemy puts a thought into your mind, instantly rebuke that thought. You must say "Satan get thee behind me in the name of Jesus" and instantly he will flee.

People believe me it works. I recall one night when I was in prison and I had fallen asleep and I couldn't move; I totally lost the activities of my limbs in my sleep. Then I heard the enemy say, "I got you now," all of a sudden in my mind I said, "Get thee behind me Satan in the name of Jesus" and in seconds the enemy loosed his grip and I woke up praising God.

The name of Jesus is above every name; at the name of Jesus, demons flee and tremble. You don't need anybody to lay hands on you, lay hands on yourself using the name of Jesus and watch what happens.

I don't know about you but, I'm tired of the enemy. I'm tired of thinking that I finally got my life under full submission and under the authority of Jesus, and then here comes Satan with his disguises and I fall. Fall under Satan's authority, God why do I keep falling? God took me to the book of Ephesians 6:10-13

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of god, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

He said, "James you are not wrestling against yourself, family, friends, but against principalities." I said principalities, what does that mean. Webster dictionary definition of principalities says: 1. the rank, dignity, or jurisdiction of a prince. The definition that caught my eye was this one, 2. The territory ruled by a prince. As I have stated before, Satan is the prince of this world or the atmosphere. This is the enemy's territory. When you begin to profess the name of Jesus, when you begin to walk a holy and clean life, Satan and his demons are going to come against you.

Listen readers Satan doesn't like you, he hates you he can't stand the very ground you walk on especially if you are saved. If you are not saved he still dislikes you, but he's not going to come against you the way he will come against the people of God because the unsaved are not a threat to him.

Satan is the enemy of Jesus. If you are living holy and proclaiming the name of Jesus, why do you think he's not going to hate you? Some people are not going to be able to take the enemies persecution, and they are going to fall by the wayside. I've made up in my mind that I'm not going to be one of those people. I'm going to be a part of the remnant; I'm going to tear down the gates of hell.

Reader be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might, and he will direct your path. STAND! STAND! STAND! When everything seems like it isn't going your way still stand. If you fall, get back up and stand. James 1:2 says

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations.

The word says God will not put more on you than you van bare. If it is brought upon you, you can bare it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 says

There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

God has already made a way of escape for you all he wants you to do is lean and depend on him and him only. Stop trying to handle things on your own; you can't defeat the enemy on your own. By my spirit says the Lord!

As you continue reading this book I pray that God will give you a better outlook on the enemy and his plan for your life. If you claim the name of Jesus, Satan has a contract out on your life, and he and his demons are going to come against you. Matter of fact they are coming against you even now.

By the anointing of God that's on my life I pray for you, and I come against the enemy coming against your life. RECEIVE IT IN THE NAME OF JESUS, GLORY TO GOD!!!

Stop The Enemy Now!!

Ever since the beginning of time the enemy has been tricking and deceiving God's people with his numerous disguises. It started in the garden with Adam and Eve. In the book of Genesis the bible explains to us how Satan disguised himself as a snake and convinced Eve into eating to forbidden fruit. The passage continues to explain that once Eve gave into the enemy and ate the forbidden fruit that she also gave some to her husband Adam. By Adam and Eve disobeying God it led to consequences. This goes to show us that if we don't heed to the voice of God, it will lead to total destruction.

Happy New Year!! It is January 1, 2006 and I'm still incarcerated behind the wired gates of Morrison Correctional Institution. It is a brand new year and what a perfect time to start your life all over again and make a change for the better.

By me being locked up in prison and paying close attention to my peers, I've noticed that at one point and time that we all had the same mind mentality. I asked a couple of people why are they locked up. Some said, "I was out there hustling, trying to get that money." Another group of people will say, "I got caught with a burner (gun)." "What do you need a gun for?" I asked and the response was "to protect myself." 9 out of 10 people that are in prison are usually in here for drugs and guns. They try to find an easy way to make fast money.
