After a day of negotiating the biggest deal of her career, Bobbie McMorrow catches a plane to attend a family weekend at her son's rehab center. Seven Days is the author's intimate account of the extraordinary events over the course of one week in which her professional and personal lives clash and climax, leaving career and family hanging in the balance. From riveting portrayals of high-flying, chess-gaming deals in the heart of the most powerful law firms, to the heart-wrenching - and sometimes hilarious --stories of people struggling to stay sober, McMorrow's memoir is rife with insights and memorable characters. And in Bobbie's conversations with her son, Justin, we glimpse the ties that bind and blind us to those we most love. Seven Days is a powerful narrative of one woman's willingness to reappraise everything--her perceptions of herself, her relationships to her career and family and her understanding of what it means to be a spiritual being living in today's world.

Bobbie McMorrow, co-founder of McMorrow Savarese, is one of the leading mergers and acquisition professionals in the country and an expert in leveraging the power of change. She has been profiled in The American Lawyer and on Law Dragon and her writing has appeared in the Daily Journal, California's largest legal news provider. A former teacher, activist, and civic leader, Bobbie has always been passionate about transforming both communities and individual lives. In the 1980s the Los Angeles School District recognized Bobbie as a Teacher of the Year and throughout the following decade she served on the board of the Mar Vista Family Center and as Youth Council Advisor. These studies, integrated with decades of board room success, inform her work today as she leads individuals and organizations on journeys of self-awareness, uncovering truths and opportunities that enable profound transformation and opportunity in the midst of crisis and change. A mother and a grandmother, Bobbie lives in Santa Ynez, California, with husband Ralph Savarese, their dog Misty, and a white buffalo. www.BobbieMcMorrow.com
