It is 1883 when Magda gives birth to Theresia. Magda’s early death shortens Theresia’s childhood and forces her from one employment to another. Starting in Admont, to Vienna, and Meran, Italy. There, she finds herself alone to give birth to her daughter Anna. WWI means loss of her husband, home, and savings; she makes her decisions by faith. Anna bears three children pre- and during WWII. About the Author

Erika Campbell - Rennie was born in Austria in 1938. A child of war. Her dream was to be a nurse and a writer. Circumstances kept her from doing so, but allowed her to meet Don, the American friend of her employers. They were married and came to the US in 1964. Two sons, Dieter and Klaus were raised in Santa Monica, California. Erika entered the Nursing Field in 1970 and received her Bachelors degree in 1982. Retired and widowed in 2003 she began to work on her book. Six years later she remarried and lives with her husband George between Hemet and Santa Monica..
