About the Author

Dr. Patterson believes as children, we are affected by several areas of life, which he calls the five painful areas. As a result of his being affected, he decided to do something about it. He decided to get his master's degree in Christian clinical counseling. He sought out to find out what made him tick. He was experiencing low self-esteem, difficulties in his relationships, and difficulties in the ministry. He went to school in North Carolina, where he currently resides. He teaches people how to move from being defeated in life to becoming all that God intends for them to be.
