About the Author

Adrian Bonner is honorary professor at the University of Stirling, and consultant in Community-based research for The Salvation Army. He was formerly Director of the Addictive Behaviour Group, in the Centre for Health Service Studies, University of Kent. His primary research interests in alcohol, nutrition and brain damage underpin work on policy development and interdisciplinary research into health inequalities and local political strategies.
