About the Author

Susan K. Burke is an associate professor at the University of Oklahoma School of Library and Information Studies, USA. She served as the SLIS Director from 2016–2023 and is currently Program Director for the OU Master of Arts in Museum Studies program. She was a librarian in academic and public libraries before earning a PhD in Sociology from Texas Woman’s University. She has been a member of the University of Oklahoma Institutional Review Board since 2015.
