About the Author

Michael J. Williams is been in the IT field for 26 years and has been workingin Project Management for over 13 years. Dr. Williams has spentmost of his career working as a Consultant for several Fortune 500 companies,such as, Bell Labs, McGraw-Hill, Nationwide Insurance, Borden Companies, NASA, Department of Defense, Applied Technology Resources and many others. Dr. Williams began working in Project Management in 1993 atwhich time he decided that project management was the way of the future. At that point he decided to direct his career in the direction of Project Management. Dr. Williamsholds advanced degrees in Business and Law, and attended Villanova University toreceive his IS/IT Project Management Professional Certification, and is currently managing multi-million dollar project for a fortune 100 company. Dr. Williams also wishes that a book such as this was available to him when he entered the project management field.
