About the Author

My name is Rita Stanley Rodenborn and I grew up in a small town in Anna, Texas. I had a traveling adventure side that caused me to join the USMC out of high school. On Okinawa, Japan, I met my future husband Bart Rodenborn. We have 2 daughters, April and Michelle. After the military, we settled down in Florissant, Mo. where we still reside.I've taken numerous writing courses and have had letters published in the newspaper, as well as short stories published in the Community College's Book for writer's. I love to write and allow the characters to come to life as I type away, sometimes late into the night. Hoping to teach our children something about giving back to mankind, we marched several years in the "Fight Against Child Abuse." I enjoy writing, embroidery, crocheting and a good game of chess. Bart and I have been married for 27 years.
