Synopsis

Buffalo & Rochelle is the intersection where the author lost his only son – where so many stories died and so many others began. At the heart of this collection, and introducing it, is the title story of two young men and choices and fate and what might have been and what won't ever be, ever again. Meeting here at these crossroads are tales tall and short – stories of ordinary people living extraordinary moments – stopping here, starting here, going who knows where together or going nowhere alone. With imagination and grace and wit and his raconteur grandfather's way with a story, George Evans takes you to places you've never seen, even if you've been there before. Once in route, he introduces you to a cast of characters you'll never forget. Even if you wanted to. Welcome to the intersection of Buffalo & Rochelle and to stories just passing through. Buckle up.

About the Author

George Evans is Partner/Creative Director for an Indianapolis integrated and interactive marketing agency. A graduate of the fiction writing program at the University Of Pittsburgh, he chose his career path as a "matter of sustenance," but has been writing short fiction as a matter of therapy for more than 30 years. He also has two screenplays in circulation that are a constant source of frustration and anti-establishment anger. George is a member of The Writers' Center Of Indiana as well as a founding member of The Loose Lobsters writers' project. He lives in Indianapolis with his wife Karen and their memories. His son George IV is his life's pride and joy.
