Synopsis

Each chapter brings together different materials to be used with the Student Activity Manual Audio, supplementary questions and activities to accompany the new video, and additional practice exercises that can be completed outside of class. Periodically, these chapters are followed by review sections that sum up grammar points and vocabulary that will help you prepare for quizzes and tests. The student activity manual also includes a complete summary of German pronunciation and an answer key for the review sections (Rückblicke).

About the Authors
Dieter Sevin, a native of Germany, was Professor of German at Vanderbilt University. He received grants from organizations such as the American Philosophical Association, American Council of Learned Societies, German Academic Exchange Service, and the Vanderbilt Research Council.
Ingrid Sevin, a native of Germany, has been teaching German and French at the high school and college level in the United States and in Germany for more than ten years. From 1987 to 2002, she was the editor of the German audio-magazine SCHAU INS LAND.
