About the Author

Montana born and ranch bred, Della May Olson and her husband, Merle, fought blizzards and drought in the hollow of Loco Ridge for seven years before moving to Arizona. They now live in Cottonwood, AZ, in the shadow of the legendary red rocks of Sedona. Twenty years tardy, Della graduated as Valedictorian of Mesa Community College in Mesa, Arizona, at the age of thirty-nine. However, her career as a writer began in grade school, high school, and as mom to four kids and friends who were always in need of a poem for school, church, or a beauty contest. She has had several collections of short stories and poems published locally. Her first novel, LENA'S RAINBOW, was published in 2007. Always a first place contest winner, Della's novels offer the same lst place quality of writing that have marked her past efforts.
