Synopsis
August Niemann ends the preface by saying "My dreams, the dreams of a German, show me the war that is to be, and the victory of the three great allied nations. Germany, France, and Russia--and a new division of the possessions of the earth as the final aim and object of this gigantic universal war." This alternative history classic begins as WWI starts with a Russian invasion of British India; The French take on the British Navy, while the Kaiser and the German Army land at Edinburgh and march south. Germany, France and Russia have allied themselves in order to seek world dominance. The author depicts the German lust for world domination before either World War has occurred

About the Author
Charlotte Niese wurde am 07.06.1854 in Burg auf Fehmarn geboren; sie starb am 08.12.1935 in Altona. Ihr Vater war Pastor in Burg auf Fehmarn. Charlotte bestand die Prüfung zur Lehrerin an Höheren Töchterschulen und unterrichtete als Hauslehrerin in Schleswig-Holstein, in der Rheinprovinz sowie als Internatserzieherin in Montreux. Danach zog sie zu ihrer inzwischen verwitweten Mutter nach Plön und begann mit der Veröffentlichung eigener Prosatexte, anfangs noch unter dem männlichen Pseudonym Lucian Bürger. 1884 ließ sie sich in Altona nieder, 1888 zog sie nach Ottensen.
