About the Author

J. Edward Lynch, Ph.D. has been a trainer and teacher of mental health professionals for more than 30 years. He has co-authored a book called Principles and Practices of Structural Family Therapy, published by The Gestalt Journal Press, which is a popular graduate school text. He also has co-edited a book called Messengers of Healing, published by Zeig, Tucker, and Theisman Co., a book about Systemic Constellation Work. He is a frequent workshop presenter in the United States and throughout Europe, on such topics as personality disorders, Systemic Constellations, Gestalt Therapy, and Family Therapy. He is a frequent contributor of articles to many journals in the field of psychotherapy and family therapy. He is also currently writing a book on Gestalt Therapy and one on Case Study Stories: a Guide to Enjoying a Difficult Work. At present he is working on training manual for gestalt therapy. Normal Madness, Murder and Mayhem is his first creative writing in the fiction field.. He lives in Connecticut and Paris, France with his wife, Barbara, and therapy dog, Madison.
