Christopher Ayres is the author of "The Halfcaste" and "The Foreign Trade." He is the director of Advocacy Assistance International (www.worldadvocacy.org), served as an attorney for the United Nations in Rwanda in 1994-5, received a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School in 1992, and from 1985 to 1989 was a New York City Firefighter.
