The Essential Guide to Processing for Flash Developers cashes in on the excitement regarding Processing in the Flash community. It is now common to see Processing demonstration talks wowing the crowds at Flash conferences, sometimes even as the conference finale to send people home with a head full of ideas. This is the only book that focuses on that convergence between Flash and Processing. Processing is an open source programming language and environment for people who want to program images, animation, and interactions. It is used by students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists for learning, prototyping, and production. It is created to teach fundamentals of computer programming within a visual context and to serve as a software sketchbook and professional production tool. For examples of pieces creating with Processing, and for further information about the technology visit www.processing.org
