This is an update of the very successful previous edition, with Flash CS3 by Tom Green, fully updated for Flash CS4. The previous edition found a unique angle in aiming Flash specifically at designers, and this new edition carries that forwards to Flash CS4. Flash is a popular market area, and in October 2008, Adobe will release Flash CS4, which boasts a whole host of new features, for Flash designers to get excited about. This book is a design-slanted guide, aimed at giving aspiring Flash designers a solid grounding in the new version, as well as giving established Flash designers a clear look over the new Flash CS4 features. It features real world examples throughout, presented in an accessible, friendly tutorial style.

About the Author
Tom Green is a professor of interactive media in the School of Media Studies at Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning in Toronto. He has written four previous books on Macromedia technologies, and many articles for numerous magazines and web sites, including the MX Developers Journal, Community MX, and Computer arts. Lastly, he has spoken at over 20 conferences internationally, including FITC, MX North, Digital Design World, TODCON, and SparkEurope.
