About the Author

James Todd Reed was born in upstate New York in 1961. He went to the State University of New York at Albany graduating with honors in 1984. He then went to medical school at SUNY health center in Syracuse earning an M.D. degree in 1988. He completed his residency at Albany Medical Center and is board Certified in Internal Medicine. He is currently in private practice in Springfield, Virginia and is a assistant clinical professor at Georgetown University in Washington D.C. Beyond medicine Dr. Reed is an accomplished athlete, an avid chess player, an activist, and a modern day philosopher. This is his first publication.
