Returning home, they discover compelling evidence to support what they were told. They then transform their lives to align with the next stage in humanity's evolution, one that will revolutionize mankind.

Review

`Illuminating, important and cutting edge prose from a voice that deserves to be heard.'

From the Author

According to the Mayans, 2012 heralds the end of a 26,000-
year evolutionary cycle. The end of the world as we know it. The start of a new Golden Age.
When I first heard about 2012, my curiosity was aroused and I started reading everything I could find on the subject. I read fiction, nonfiction, and everything in between, experiencing the extremes of exhaustive research and hallucinogenic hypothesis.

What I read inspired me to write a novel in which the characters have a similar journey to my own. They are intelligent, seemingly rational people who start to question their long-held beliefs, drivers, and motivations once they start to see beyond the illusion of a society focused on materialism, social position, and self-interest.

A key aspect of their transition is a reconnection with nature and a realization of the intrinsic connection between all human beings. As part of that journey, they become aware of the importance of music and its contribution to the profound reawakening of consciousness all over the world.

Many of the ideas explored by the book are drawn from historical fact or scientific research, while others are pure speculation.

Readers should do their own research to determine the "accuracy" of any hypothesis. Indeed, one of the underlying themes of the novel is the importance of questioning what others tell us and coming to our own conclusions.

Current world events play a significant part in the novel, from the "credit crunch" to the effects of climate change. The novel places the reader in the context of the challenges he is facing today and suggests possible ways to overcome them.

In fact, the book suggests that some of today's challenges have been orchestrated by a powerful "global elite," whose long-term agenda has been to maintain absolute control and keep humanity from becoming empowered in order to pursue its own selfserving goals.

While writing this book, my rational mind was in constant
debate with my intuitive mind. When in an intuitive state, the concepts inspired me. When in a rational state, everything sounded irrational. You may have the same experience while reading it.

Whatever you do, try to think outside the square. It's something we all struggle with. The familiarity of long-held beliefs provides a relative safety net that may not be as safe as we think. The status quo is a very compelling place to be, mainly because everybody else is there too.

That doesn't mean to say it's right.
