About the Authors

David Chrisinger is the executive director of the policy writing program at the University of Chicago's Harris School of Public Policy. He is the author of Stories Are What Save Us: A Survivor's Guide to Writing about Trauma and Public Policy Writing That Matters.

Lauren Brodsky (LEXINGTON, MA) is a lecturer in public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School. She teaches courses on policy analysis and persuasive communication and has published articles in Harvard Business Review and Fast Company.
