Synopsis
Train Ride is a journey that can go beyond the tracks and is limited only to the readers imagination. Interpretations can vary as much as there are perceptions. This story encourages analysis, interpretation, but can also withstand a simple explanation. Like abstract art, it allows for individuals to interpret differently, or simply enjoy and view from their own perch. A simple train ride through the country as a respite for reflection. One aspect of this story touches upon the experiences gained by interaction with others and the shaping of ones' own philosophy. We all grow or maintain in our own way as we remain conscious of our being, and can direct our course to a much greater extent than we sometimes care to admit. About the Author
The author spent much of his life pursuing its meaning, but also focuses on ensuring that it includes both fun and adventure. He has lived in Asia and Europe and in several different States in the US. He continues to travel extensively and welcomes challenges. He is dedicated to making sense or 'reason' of what is observed and can be interpreted as logic or wisdom. Sometimes an impatient, blunt "foot-locker philosopher," he studied psychology, spent a lot of time sharing ideas with people of very varied cultures, religions, and beliefs. He sees the world as more whole than parts of a trashed puzzle. A believer in traveling without baggage, in more than one sense, he enjoys interaction with others, despite their philosophy. Differences of opinion are welcomed so long as they are shared with just that goal, of sharing thought, and not driven towards conversion. After over thirty years of extensive travel, he now tires of getting there, but likes being there. Although, he will admit, that you are always there and always getting there, there is little difference.
