I am not a doctor or lawyer and I don't have a P.H.D, but I do have the experience of rasing children alone. This book is not to tell you how to raise your children, it's about letting you know that the confusion, aggravation, and loneliness that you feel almost everyday is ok your definitely not alone. The poetry I've wrote in this book is all about emotions and the way I used to feel in life. I used to sometimes wonder if I was good parent when I felt these types of emotions. Thinking I was strong enough to over come them. Although you may find a way to somewhat deal with them you can't ever hide them or forget them. We all have different emotions, and we all have different situations to why we are single parents. Some are divorced, or have never been married, deceased so many different reasons. But one thing we all have in common is that we love our children and we make the sacrifices needed to make sure our children are provided for. These soft angels are true companion's of our very flesh and soul, life long friends and as any parent would know someone to talk to. All the emotional stress we feel is a small price to pay for their little smile and soft hugs. Take for example you come home from work all stressed out, The boss has been on you all day for someone else's mistake. All you want to do is kick your shoes off and relax, but you can't do that until you know the children are taken care of. Now many people say that's easily done. Is it for a parent. I'll leave that up for you to decide. For me, I feel fitting in a work day, making dinner getting them ready for school is quite an accomplishment. Actually outstanding what all we have to do. The thoughts and poetry written in these pages are for emotional, moral and any other support you my find. These pages of poetry are welcome to any heart that finds comfort in them.
