Jeff Russell was born in the small biker town of Sunland on the American West Coast. In 1994, he took to the road with a friend driving his loved MR2 (black) and they proceeded to make an overnight 'shrimp run' to San Francisco. This was after his Uncle's suicide although Jeff believes his Uncle might have had the misfortune of murder/suicide carried out by government operatives. It's possible, Jeff's reason's, his uncle heard voices in his head (temples) likely by technology or ESP, or both. You see, his uncle had threatened and African American Secret Service Man by knife point in a bar in Thousand Oaks, Ventura County. He was beaten in an alley and then convicted but before sentencing, he jumped in front of a train. A few days later, his wife received a letter with the promise of probation. Of course, it was already too late. Jeff, now divorced, decided to move on to San Jose with a girlfriend and then after visiting Los Gatos, finally settled in the forest realm of Felton, near Santa Cruz. Jeff began to write, now Jeff alway's drank when he wrote. This in some ways enhances his speed writing. The funny thing was, that Jeff began to hear voices himself after his uncle's death, and they told him he had Sczhafrenia or "Voices". But Jeff also heard on the radio, while living in San Jose, a government employee had committed suicide by jumping off the Golden Gate Bridge after heading voices for three days. All this, and a profound love of music (Rock N' Roll) was the way the book got started. Soon Pow Wow's and Catholic Mass followed. Lot's of road trips. Poetry just flowed.
