About the Authors

Jan Dynes is an MBA who has always worked in the big business arena, until her fiftieth year when she turned full time adventurer and writer. While planning to circumnavigate the world in a sailboat, she adopted writing and wrote this, her first fiction. Although she has published numerous short stories and articles; writing this book was the fulfillment of a dream. Two more are forthcoming.

Jan Dynes has her MBA in Business and Contract Law,is a Public Speaker and has owned Art Galleries in Colorado and Alaska. She was in upper level management in the Hospitality Industry for most of her life, and her writing was always on the side; although she won many contests and several awards. Up until now Jan had only written and published non-fiction. At retirement at age 50, Jan decided to be an adventurer and outfitted a 41 foot sailboat to circumnavigate the planet. Her dream was shattered after 3700 miles and 6 months onboard, when she hit a storm from which she and the boat could not continue. She immediately launched another dream and wrote this book. Jan Dynes is an amazing testament to experiencing life in technicolor!
