By weekday, the author is an ordinary mild-mannered computer programmer, but on weekends he escapes to explore the nether regions of the mind that were probably best left alone. He has written poetry and satirical short stories but this is his first novel. It loosely follows his experiences in Australia, which have been greatly enhanced by going into those "nether regions" that were described earlier.
