John Spitzberg is a retired special educationteacher, social worker, and critical care paramedic. He's lived in Alaska wherehe taught native children and worked for the State as a child protectionworker. He's lived in Maryland, Florida, Illinois, and Ohio and has traveledextensively in Southeast Asia, Europe, and Canada.His paramedic work with a private ambulance companyin Southeast Florida provided him with valuable experience with the elderly inhospitals, rehabilitation and nursing homes. His experiences with theadministrations and staffs made indelible impressions upon him.Three years ago he moved to Asheville, NorthCarolina where he lives with his two dogs and a beautiful vista .He teachesEnglish to migrant farm workers.
