About the Author
Professor Lesley Regan is the mother of twin daughters and heads the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at St Mary's Hospital, Imperial College, London - the first woman in England to hold such a position. She is a regular contributor to radio and TV programmes on women's health and has presented a series of sex BBC Horizon documentaries.
