He is the winner of more than twenty national and international prizes and awards, and much of his work has been adapted for stage, screen and radio. Dr Trivizas is a professor of criminology. He wrote the first studies of crowd violence in football fans and continues to practise as a barrister. His children's books include the popular 'The Last Black Cat'.
