About the Author

TAE-WOO LEE is Visiting Professor at, among others, the Faculty of Economics and Politics in Cambridge, IMS at the University of Plymouth, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and Dalian Maritime University. Professor Lee is currently Vice-President of the Korea Marine Transport Policy Foundation (KMTPF), an organization that has participated in the development and setting up of Korean shipping and port policies since 1982. He has served as secretary and vice-president of the International Association of Maritime Economists, guest editor of Maritime Policy and Management, a monthly col
