About the Author

George Labedz came to the United States in 1950, and became an American citizen in 1960. He learned to speak English by having his children teach him as they learned the language in school. Ultimately, he became a highly successful emblematic designer.George is presently retired, living in North Attleboro, Massachusetts with his wife, Jolanta.Richard Burr was born in 1947, grew up in Massachusetts, went to Vietnam a year after graduating from high school and then came back and worked for five years with George as a designer. In 1986, he moved to St. Augustine, Florida, went to college, and now teaches high school.
