Since 2004, Baby Sign Language Basics has introduced hundreds of thousands of parents and caregivers around the globe to the miracle of signing with their babies - and left them wanting more!
Now, in this newly expanded edition, Monta Z. Briant provides more than 300 American Sign Language (ASL) signs, illustrated with the same clear, easy-to-understand photos and descriptions. Baby-specific signing techniques, songs and games are also included to make learning fun and to quickly open up two-way communication. Parents will meet real signing families and learn how to make sign language a part of their everyday interactions with their children. Also included is a video signing dictionary featuring all the signs from the book. Just point and click, and see the sign you want to learn come alive!
This is a must-have for all parents, grandparents and anyone else who spends time with preverbal children. After all, what parent or caregiver doesn't want to know what their baby is trying to tell them?

Monta Briant heard about baby sign language when she was expecting her first child. She began signing with her daugter, Sirena, when she was 6 months old, and was so impressed with the results that she felt impelled to share what she and her daughter had learned with other parents and cargivers of young children.
Monta teaches all the classes and workshops herself. Sirena, now 3, helps out at some classes; demonstrating signing along with songs, games and story time.
Monta Briant has achieved Sign2Me™ Presenters' Network Level I Certification, an official acknowledgement of her proficiencies and high professional standards.
Summer McStravick is the Producer/Director of HayHouseRadio.com, an Internet radio network parented by Hay House, Inc., the world's leading publisher of self-help titles.
Previously the Art Director at Hay House, Summer is now using her talents to create the vision for HayHouseRadio.com's broadcast identity. In addition to producing each of the network's nineteen weekly shows.
Summer also hosts The Power of Intention with Dr. Wayne Dyer show, the Radio for Your Soul Premier Hour (which showcases Hay House authors and new thinkers in the fields of personal growth and whole-body wellness), and her own personal show, Flowdreaming.
Flowdreaming introduces listeners to a technique that radically transformed Summer's own life. As a lifelong student of metaphysics and the mind, in 1999 Summer began spontaneously experiencing the "Flow," in which she noticed that her family's special "guided daydreaming" technique was transforming into something even more powerful and effective than she had ever experienced before.
Prompted by this phenomenon to study the latest in consciousness research and theoretical physics, over a period of years she refined her family's technique, and her results are now available for the first time ever in a series of CDs and the forthcoming title, Flowdreaming: A Radical New Technique in Manifesting.
Today, Summer uses the Flow almost daily in her own life, and also teaches others how to access this important aspect of themselves.
