This festive season will be different for sisters Cara and Evie. They're getting ready for their first Christmas without their beloved grandmother and saying goodbye to the home they grew up in.

Despite her sadness, Cara's relieved to be back in Crescent Cove - and away from her husband. Their whirlwind elopement felt like a dream come true; the reality is that she's married to a stranger. But what would her life look like without him?

Meanwhile, Evie is avoiding the man whose proposal she turned down years ago. Back then, it felt like the right decision to leave her hometown - and Tom - behind. Now though she's not so sure.

Among their gran's belongings, they find her wedding and engagement rings - and a diamond ring they've never seen before. Did the woman who raised them have a secret past?

As the sisters attempt to solve this mystery, they start to consider their own choices - and the possibility of new beginnings. Maybe this Christmas has more than one surprise in store ...
