<p><b>Ashley Rimmer</b> is a seasoned transport and operations manager with over 45 years of experience in the logistics industry. He began his career as a driver and has since held various positions, including Transport & Compliance Manager at Transam Trucking Ltd.<br><br><br>Throughout his extensive career, he has developed a deep passion for the logistics sector, which remains as strong today as it was on his first day. His commitment to the industry is further exemplified by his status as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (FCILT) and a Technical Member of IOSH, reflecting his dedication to professional excellence and continuous development.<br><br><br>In addition to his managerial roles, he has contributed to industry knowledge as the editor of <i>Lowe's Transport Manager's and Operator's Handbook 2025</i>, a comprehensive guide offering crucial insights into the transport and haulage industry.<br><br><br>He is also a Freeman of the Worshipful Company of Carmen, an ancient livery company dedicated to the transport and logistics profession, further cementing his standing in the industry.
