Synopsis

Sometimes in life, the time comes when we want to be the very best we can be, to achieve our goals. Freddy was no exception! He wanted to win a gold medal at the biggest jumping competition in the world, the Frog Olympics.

He practised his jumping every day, making sure he was ready with his body and his mind for the big day, preparing himself as best he could for the biggest competition for which he had ever entered.

But other frogs from around the world wanted to win that medal too! They came from near and far, from every pond in the land, ready to jump to glory!

How do you think Freddy went? He was very confident, very good, very ready, and very keen to do the best he could do! Read his story!

About this title

About the Author

With four children under five living on a small farm near Melbourne Australia, Peter respected the need for their careful education and sensible discipline and decided, rather than remember the stories he'd told them the night before, that he would put his stories down in writing.

Twenty years later, his stories have now been incorporated into two series of 'Life Lessons for Kids,' one based on farm animals, the other on wild animals, and they are still being told by parents and families in the nearby farming community, at local schools and beyond.
