Il capo XVIII della Corsica e cavato dalla se conda edizione italiana del Compendio di Geo grafia, che l'autore arricchì di una descrizione ori ginale di tutt'i paesi italiani colla quale volle presentare a' suoi connazionali una intiera serie di fatti, che nel loro insieme colmasse almeno in parte la deficienza, che le Geografie generali la sciavano sussistere. Questa fatica cui egli poneva la maggior cura benché non possa pretendere che fosse perfetta dai lettori di buona fede fu assai benignamente accolta imputando a chi si dovevano i molti e grossi errori sfuggiti in quella edizione.
