Excerpt from Correspondence Course: Lessons 4-10, How to Mount Birds
You have practiced your former lessons and have attained some proficiency in skinning and are now ready to turn your attention to learning how mount your birds.
Before proceeding yot: do well to place in a handy place excelsior, tow, some clay, hat-pins, long and short, a ball of twine, arsenic and wire. The matter of wire is all important. Too large a wire will make your birds' legs bulgy if it does not break the skin, and too light a wire will make it flimsy By reference to the wire table you can easily discover the kind of wire needed for each bird.
