REFORM can be used to select or abridge information from any of the cards and print that information, or reformat new cards in any desired order or arrangement. It finds applications in the modification of formatted files of data and the insertion of labels, comments, headings, or typesetting code instructions into existing files, either permanently or for printing of reports.
