About the Author

Jon Landau (July 23, 1960-July 5, 2024) was an American film producer who won an Academy Award for Best Picture for Titanic (1997). He was also nominated for producing Avatar (2009) and Avatar: The Way of Water (2022). Before joining James Cameron's production company Lightstorm Entertainment, he was executive vice president of feature film production at 20th Century Fox. As of 2025, Landau produced three of the four highest-grossing films of all time. James Cameron is an acclaimed, Oscar-winning film director, known for Avatar, Titanic, The Terminator, Aliens, and many others.
