Synopsis
Marco never wanted to be an Animorph. He didn't want the ability to change into any animal he touched. And he certainly didn't want to be one of a handful of kids that are the planet's only defence against a secret alien army. His friends know why he feels the way he does. He's worried about his dad―the only family Marco has left. If anything happens to him, his father will be alone. But something big is about to change for Marco. Something that could finally give him a reason to fight.

About the Author
CHRIS GRINE is the creator of the Eisner Award-nominated Chickenhare and Time Shifters. He's been making up stories since he was a kid, and not just to get out of trouble with his parents. Nowadays, Chris spends most of his time writing and illustrating books, drinking lots of coffee, and sleeping as little as possible. He spends his free time with his wife, playing with his kids, watching movies, and collecting action figures (but only the bad guys).
