Excavation for the Ambulatory Care Research Facility (acre) commenced in May 1977. Preparatory to construction, entrances were relocated, parking areas were changed, and pedestrian and vehicular traffic patterns were altered. Stage I of the construction, involving all substructures, is on schedule and should be completed during the middle of the next fiscal year.
