From the commencement of cholera in St. Louis, says Dr. M'pheeters, in his able report, to its termination, there were certain localities in which the disease raged with peculiar violence. These points seemed to act as foci from whence the disease radiated to other parts, and the facts connected with them form an interesting subject of inquiry, especially as they were regarded by those who advocate the doctrine of contagion as having an important hearing on the subject.
