Excerpt from The History of Psellus: Edited With Critical Notes and Indices
Meanwhile for the History of Psellus we have only the ms. 1712 of the Bibliotheque Nationale. It is a very corpus of Byzantine history, beginning at the Creation and ending with Michael VII. Of these chroniclers, Simeon Logothetes is the first, Leo the Deacon the second, his continuer Michael Psellus the third.
