Here only three vowels are concerned - a, i, 11. Hence the vowel-deelen sion is divided into three classes: (a.) The a-declension; (b.) The i-deelen sion; (c.) The u-declension. Of these only the a-declension is found entire. The other two had gone over more or less into it.
