Excerpt from The Cleveland Technical High School: Its Inception, Plans for Building and Equipment, Together With an Outline of the Course of Study to Be Pursued
On Monday, March 5, 1906, the Board of Education unanimously adopted a resolution authorizing the issue of bonds for for the purpose of erecting a Manual Training High School.
Since that time a marked change as to what shall be the policy of this school has brought about a change in name and henceforth the institution is to be known as the Cleve land Technical High School.
