First. - The bust measure: The tape line is brought over the fullest part of the bust, and close under the arms, and raise the tape line a little in the back, about to the center of the shoulder blades, and draw as tight as the garment is desired. For example this is 34 inches.
Second. - The waist measure is taken as tight as the garment is desired. For example this is 24 inches.
