Citations from the Statutes at Large are also provided for each section, along with references to opinions and decisions not cited as authorities for action or decision on any case, but rather as background information. Words in italics within certain sections have been included to conform to existing law, while headings have been supplied in some instances. While much of the information provided was valuable to many in 1875, the author deemed it unnecessary for those whom this book was intended to serve, omitting such sections from this edition. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
