Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book encapsulates the foundational knowledge of plane geometry, a branch of mathematics that deals with the properties of shapes, angles and lines that lie on a flat surface. The author has organized the subject matter in a way that is accessible to beginners in the field. Starting with basic concepts, such as points and lines, the book gradually delves into more complex ideas, including the relationship between angles and parallel lines. Along the way, it introduces theorems and axioms, providing both intuitive explanations and rigorous proofs. By presenting geometry as a logical system built upon a few basic principles, the book invites readers to engage critically with the material. The author also emphasizes the practical applications of geometry, demonstrating how these principles can be used to solve problems in other fields, such as engineering and design. The book concludes with an exploration of more advanced topics, such as the properties of triangles and polygons, providing readers with a solid foundation for further study in geometry and related disciplines.
