And afterwards let them be examined (introducing numerous examples framed by themselves and by the teacher), as to the portion they have learned, in order to judge how far they remember it.

Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book on reasoning, a process employed by all of us knowingly or unknowingly, provides an introduction to the study of its principles and their application in argumentation. The author avoids excessive technicality, and establishes clear definitions and technical terms, encouraging readers to commit them to memory as they would an alphabet. Clearly expressed arguments, the author observes, prevent misunderstandings and quarrels, which often erupt when poorly educated people attempt to defend weak reasoning. This book can guide readers in understanding the reasoning process and expressing their own views with greater clarity, accuracy, and ease. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. Seller Inventory # 9781331895237_0
