The Brunton family were well known in Bos ton, as living in an ever-open and hospitable mansion, welcoming friends and strangers with genial cordiality, and very glad to share in any social amusement, even though it involved frs quent excursions into the suburbs.
The Fagot-parties introduced by this collection of friends brought out a variety of games and amusements, new and Old, which are given here.
