Excerpt from Present Truth
Later came an evangelical movement bringing into clear and bold relief the doctrine of justification by faith as against the nominal church of the times.

Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book by the author discusses the importance and omnipresence of God in the Bible, the church, and our lives. The author believes that we are in danger of overlooking God in our modern world and that we need to rediscover his presence in all things. The author traces the idea of the supernatural in the Bible from the very first sentence of Genesis, through the history of Israel, and up to the coming of Christ. The author argues that the supernatural is not something that is extra-Biblical or extra-Christian, but that it is essential to both. Throughout the Bible, God is portrayed as a personal being who is actively involved in the lives of his people. He is not a distant God who is removed from the world, but a God who is present with us and who wants to have a relationship with us. The author challenges us to live our lives as if we believe that God is real and that he is present with us. We need to live in constant dependence on him and to seek his guidance in all that we do. When we do this, we will find that our lives will be transformed, and that we will experience the power of the supernatural in our own lives.
